NE Portland ADU

On a 50’ x 100’ Portland city lot, the client wished to demo their old, unusable shed in order to build a contemporary box used for living and housing art.  

In order to build within the south & west setbacks, the design team had to maintain a height of 15’ to the center of the hip roofs. This still kept the ceilings high (9’-0+) and allowed for ample wall space. 

High ceilings & museum-like details complete this small, but mighty ADU.
